The Villa, once inhabited by the Borghi family, now home to Hotel Villa Borghi, was built in the small town of Varano Borghi (Varese) on the eastern shore of Lake Comabbio.
The sumptuous palace underwent an elegant restoration in the 19th century, which gave it the graceful lines typical of the Liberty style that characterize the entire structure—a brilliant example of eclecticism.
The hotel is surrounded by a 65,000 sqm park, rich in centuries-old (and sometimes rare) plants, easily explored thanks to well-maintained paths.
